Station 38 along with Stations 47 (Fallowfield), 50 (Lone Pine) and 67 (Marianna) were dispatched to Maple st in the Borough for a possible Chimney Fire. Engine 38-2 arrived with a crew of four to find a two story residential structure with nothing showing from the exterior. Due to the quick actions of the homeowner in using a fire extinguisher, the fire was actually out before any units arrived. Chief 38-2 (Nuccetelli) Canceled all units responding. 38 checked the residence for any extension and all units were clear in approximately 10 minutes.
